Dan is an associate in the firm’s local government law practice with a focus on zoning, land use, and municipal law.
At Ancel Glink, Dan advises local governments on topics related to wide-scale rezoning, ordinance drafting, annexation, purchase and sale agreements, tax increment financing and other municipal issues.
Prior to joining Ancel Glink, Dan externed with a Chicago legal non-profit where he worked on land use liability matters, tax increment financing, and community legal advocacy. Additionally, Dan was a law clerk at an affordable housing law firm.
Dan received his Bachelor of Arts from Oberlin College where he played varsity soccer. Later,
Dan received his Juris Doctor with honors, from the University of Illinois College of Law. In law
school, Dan represented asylum seekers as part of the College of Law’s Immigration Law Clinic
and worked as a zoning analyst as part of the National Zoning Atlas project. Dan also served as a Notes Editor for the Journal of Law, Technology, and Policy and received CALI awards in both
Introduction to Advocacy and Race, Society, and the Law.
Hobbies
When not practicing law, Dan enjoys running, exploring Chicago, and being disappointed in the Chicago Bulls.
