Katie specializes in corporate law, advising on various issues facing local governments in Illinois.

Katie began her experience in municipal law during her time at law school and now advises local governments on the variety of matters that local governments experience with Ancel Glink. Katie advises clients on a breadth of real estate and tax matters in exempting local government property from taxes, abating accumulated taxes, and evaluating assessed valuation property appeals that impact local government taxes.

Katie generally advises clients on corporate matters at board meetings and ensures clients comply with new Illinois laws and regulations. Katie has also worked and strategized in the election arena, assisting candidates and electoral boards with the objection process.

In her free time, Katie enjoys walking with her dog near Lake Michigan, watching Michigan and Illinois sports games with friends and family, and finding new restaurants in Chicago to try.
